10 Not-In-Order Reasons Why Not To Join ROBLOX:
1. The banning system sucks.
There are people who say they've been banned without a moderator's note. There is a person that said his account has been terminated (deleted), saying do not make accounts just to spam or troll. It was a 2007 account. People have been banned for posting, "external links" to blog.roblox.com etc. There are many other dumb bans.
Be careful, the only, "moderators" are both either bots, and heartless, cruel, merciless, power-drunk members.
2. Exploiting magnet.
While Telamon works hard at patching 4-year-old glitches, a hacker comes up with a new one. The administrators are always years behind on the glitches part.
ROBLOX is very easy to hack, that's why lots of times, when you go into a game there's a hacker using an orb or the place's destroyed, by a hack.
From 11-year-olds using Cheat Engine, to 17 year olds hacking data, from 1x1x1x1, to JJ5x5's hacker, ROBLOX is one of the most-targeted-by-hackers website.
3. It's, "FREE!"
Yes, it's free. To play 60% of the, "Non-BC" games. There is becoming less and less things for Non-BC members to do.
Every time there's a new update, chances are you'll end up with the evil pop-up window telling you you need Builders Club.
ROBLOX has released countless ads and computer graphic-made trailers for their buggy, laggy game engine, all of which are 99% lies.
4. It's, "100% Safe and Kid-Friendly"
Actually, if you ever play a game like Cabin Hangout or Live In a Five-Star Island Resort (which sucks) you'll not be surprised at the amount of online daters there. That's just one of the rules that's been broken countless times, but also, they make it look like it's, "Kid Friendly" by stupid things, like no in-game free speech until 13, default face is ":)", etc. The not-unless-13 system has been bypassed probably thousands of times by fake parent accounts, which can never be fixed.
5. Hacked? You're screwed.
A lot of parents and kids surf the site carelessly thinking that passwords can easily be recovered
through parent accounts, and they can not. There is no way to recover a password from a hacker.
6. Underestimation.
Since ROBLOX is a kid website, ROBLOX's new updates like the horrible Stamper Tool come out underestimation. ROBLOX should know that a small part of roblox.com actually know how to script, so ROBLOX should know not everyone here is a four-year-old.
7. Banned? Also screwed.
Any ban from permanent ban to IP ban, if it's permanent, forget ROBLOX. (The only way to lift an IP ban is somehow convince ROBLOX [info@roblox.com] to remove it from the blacklist, but it's most likely they either won't believe you, like always, or not be able to do anything about it, like always.)
8. Bypassing.
Many people bypass so many things on ROBLOX, like using a proxy server to get around IP bans, replace bad words with different characters (like, "sh!t" or, "@$$")
9. You don't want to get popular. You really don't.
It's like being president of the United States, and being targeted by assassins. Even if your game just gets on the front page, people will be attempting to hack you, asking you for your password, asking you to donate, asking you to be their bf/gf, trying to get you banned, trying to get your game removed, just to name a few.
10. Customer Support sucks.
Speaking of customer support, I recall someone claiming it was typo'd once, "Costumer Support".
Don't like it? Don't play it.
They're not forcing you to play their game. If you wanna actually have, "big-boy" fun, play the newest M-rated game, or just play battlefield.play4free.com. I play it. It's fun. The best part, it's free 2 play.
